Seacliff Inspections provides this information in the form of a custom, computerized report delivered electronically within 24 hours of the inspection.
In addition to providing basic information your insurance company will ask for, the inspection report will clearly describe and identify:
- all major components of the house
- the condition of each major component
- items needing repair or replacement
- safety or health concerns
- areas that need routine maintenance
- components that are suspect
- any necessary major expenditures
- the positive aspects of the home
The inspection report is delivered electronically, and includes photos, maintenance tips and additional documents of interest. For a small additional fee, a printed copy of the report is available upon request. As an option, reports can be provide on CD or flash drive, as well.
We will ensure that every client is comfortable with all the information provided. Free consultation by phone or email is available at any time following the inspection to answer remaining questions or to clarify details.
Start By Making An Informed Decision
Every inspection performed by Seacliff Inspections is an examination of over 1500 possible problem areas in a typical home. It is important to remember that no home is perfect. That being said, not every small problem with a home will be identified. Cosmetic issues are generally subjective and are not reported on. Though some minor defects will be identified, the inspection is intended to document areas of major concern or expense. Every roof will eventually need to be replaced. Every furnace or air conditioner will eventually need repair or replacement. Every basement will leak given the right conditions. At Seacliff Inspections, we strive to identify those items which are defective, or near the end of their useful life, so you can budget accordingly.
A Seacliff Inspections' report does not pass or fail a home. It is impossible for us to understand all your reasons for wanting to purchase a particular home. In the end, it is a subjective and personal decision. It is our intention to provide you with the information you need to make that decision an informed one.
